I was just curious, for those that sell, how do you price your paints? Do you go through your pigments/binders/pans/tins and calculate cost per tps/gram/each and factor it all out? Or do you use a rough estimate of cost+time?
I'm trying to figure out a good pricing scheme, but I'm wondering if the work for calculating the cost of each pigment by tsp/gram is worth it? I definitely understand pricing paints higher for vastly different pigment costs, but I'm mostly curious how "fine grain" you all get? Price down to the gram or estimated costs?
Thanks for your input!
