Hello everybody! I'm Esra and I live in Turkey. I have been thinking about making my own watercolors for a year maybe. But I really don't know how and where to start. I'm seacrhing for tools, pigments and lots of things, but I can't find most of them in Turkey (for instance a glass muller). And I can't trust the pigments I find in Turkey if they are good or nor. What can you suggest me? Actually to buy something from other countries may be dangerous because of the virus. Please help me :(

Hi there Esra,
Sorry for the delay in response. If you cannot source a muller, you can source an alternative so long as it is a glass flat surface to grind against a glass or marble surface. The best place to buy from (that is reliable and safe company) is Jackson's Art. The link is on my resources page. Pigments, check out online with your art shops, soap makers or even source from outside possibly. You only really need to then source a palette knife and anything to store your paint in, like bottle tops/caps for example.
All the best!
